Durham Area Youth Workers Network
The Durham Area Youth Workers Network (DAYWN) is a collaboration of youth pastors, youth leaders, and churches across the Durham area who share one mission: to see middle and high school students encounter the Gospel and grow as disciples of Jesus.
We believe that when churches work together, the impact on our city multiplies. Through partnership, prayer, and shared vision, we create opportunities for students to experience authentic faith and lasting transformation.
WHAT WE DO
Citywide Student Gatherings
We collaborate to host Christ-centered events like Meta, where students from many churches gather for worship, evangelism, and discipleship.

Leadership and Training
We plan and promote opportunities for students and leaders to grow through training in leadership, apologetics, evangelism, and worship.

School Outreach
We support and partner with parachurch organizations that are reaching students directly in local schools.

Encouragement for Youth Leaders
DAYWN also exists to support those who serve students. We provide fellowship, prayer, and encouragement for full-time and part-time youth pastors, ministry volunteers, seminary students, and interns.

A Network Built on Unity
Youth leaders from churches across the Durham area gather monthly for prayer, planning, collaboration, and encouragement as we work together to reach the next generation for Christ. Because when the Church is united, students are reached, faith grows stronger, and our city is changed.
